Karizma-Based Hero Centennial Edition Launched

The Hero Centennial Edition has been put up for auction exclusively for Hero’s employees, associates, business partners, and stakeholders. Only 100 units of this special edition will be sold nationwide. Its deliveries will begin in September 2024.

Funds raised through this auction will be used for social welfare. Based on the Karisma XMRthis new limited edition was first showcased at the Hero World event earlier this year. It has been made in honor of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal’s 101st birth anniversary.

With a few cosmetic enhancements, the Hero Centennial Edition appears slightly different from the regular Karizma XMR. The bike has a quarter-fairing, and most of its body panels are made of carbon fiber. Interestingly, it has billet-machined components such as the swingarm, handlebar, triple clamp, handlebar mount, and footpegs. There is also a commemorative badge on the tank. The Centennial Edition is equipped with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and weighs 5.5 kg less than the regular Karizma XMR.

For suspension duties, the Hero Centennial Edition has 43mm USD forks with compression and rebound adjustability and a fully adjustable, gas-charged monoshock unit from Wilbers. There are no changes to its engine. Similar to the regular Hero Karizma XMR, the Centennial Edition uses a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing a maximum power of 25.5bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. It retains the same 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
