Melbourne Airport witnessed a heartbreaking scene as Manpreet Kaur, a 24-year-old Indian-origin woman, tragically passed away on a Qantas flight bound for New Delhi.
Despite feeling unwell before boarding, she bravely took her seat. Moments before departure, she collapsed onboard and despite immediate medical attention from Qantas crew and emergency services, she couldn’t be revived.

Qantas Airlines extended condolences to Manpreet’s family, emphasizing their thoughts are with them during this difficult time. Manpreet, who had aspirations of becoming a chef and worked at Australia Post, was fondly remembered by her roommate, Gurdip Grewal.
In her memory, Grewal launched a fundraiser to support Manpreet’s grieving family.

Manpreet, battling tuberculosis according to local reports, had been sleepless in anticipation of her journey to reunite with her parents in India after four years in Australia.
