Maruti Dream Series Now Available Until July 2024

Aiming to boost sales of its entry-level offerings, Maruti Suzuki introduced a special “Dream Series” range of Arena models, including the Alto K10, Celerio, and S-Presso. All three models, based on different trims, were initially made available at Rs 4.99 lakh. The Maruti Dream Series lineup was initially offered only for the month of June. However, this special range received an overwhelming response from buyers, resulting in a 17 percent increase in footfalls at Arena showrooms.

The carmaker has confirmed that 21,000 Dream Series models have been booked so far. Considering its success, Maruti Suzuki has extended the Dream Series availability to July 2024. Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, MSIL, has revealed that the company is now working on providing special finance packages with several banks to its customers.

The Maruti Dream Series comes with a few cosmetic enhancements, including chrome garnish on the front grille and rear hatch, matte black cladding on the wheel arches, black and silver body side molding, a frame for the license plate, and front, rear, and side skid plates. The interiors of the Dream Series models get four special features—a security system, a reverse camera, a pair of speakers, and an interior styling kit. Maruti Suzuki says that customers can save up to Rs 49,000 on the Alto K10 Dream Series, Rs 58,000 on the Celerio Dream Series, and Rs 63,000 on the S-Presso Dream Series.

Talking about the monthly sales figures, the Indo-Japanese automaker recorded total sales of 1,79,228 units in June 2024, including 1,39,918 units of domestic sales, 8,277 units to other OEMs, and exports of 31,033 units. A total of 52,373 units of Maruti Suzuki UVs were sold last month. However, the mini and compact segments witnessed a sales decline.

Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to launch the new-generation Dzire compact sedan around this year’s festive season (possibly by September). The new model will share some of its design elements, features, and powertrain with the Swift hatchback. After the all-new Dzire, the company will introduce its first electric offering based on the Maruti eVX concept. Its production-ready version is likely to hit roads in early 2025.
