Hyderabad: After touching down in New Delhi on Thursday morning, Team India players and staff, who were part of the T20 World Cup, have reached Prime Minister Modi’s residence.
They have reached the Lok Kalyan Marg in a special bus.The team members who left their hotel with a police convoy were seen wearing special jerseys, it was same as they wore during the T20 World Cup but they have champions written beneath their name.
Earlier, Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma have cut cakes that were offered by the Chef, Rahul had cut it on their arrival, while Rohit cut it when the team was leaving for PM’s residence.
Team India have arrived in a special Air India Boeing flight from Barbados, where they were stranded due to the dangerous Grade 4 Hurricane Beryl.
After meeting the PM, team India is to take a victory parade in Mumbai from Wankhade to Marine drive from 4 pm.
