The all-new Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG, the world’s first-ever CNG bike, has finally been launched in India. The bike is offered in three variants: NGO4 Disc LED, NGO4 Drum LED, and NGO4 Drum, priced at Rs 1,10,000, Rs 1,05,000, and Rs 95,000, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

The two-wheeler maker claims that the new Freedom CNG offers 85 percent lower NMHC emissions, along with 26 percent less carbon dioxide emissions and 43 percent less NOx emissions. Owners can save Rs 75,000 over a span of just five years of riding. The bike is also claimed to have 50 percent lower operating costs in daily use.

The biggest highlight of the new Bajaj Freedom CNG is its powertrain. The bike comes with a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine and a 2kg CNG tank. The gasoline unit delivers a maximum power of 9.5PS and 9.7Nm of torque. With its 2-litre petrol tank and 2kg CNG tank, the bike promises a total range of 330km. According to official figures, the Freedom 125 CNG has a running cost of nearly Rs 1/km.

Buyers have seven color options to choose from, varying by variant. The entry-level Drum variant comes in Pewter Grey-Yellow and Ebony Black-Red paint schemes. Both the Disc LED and Drum LED variants are available in Cyber White. While the Caribbean Blue and Pewter Grey-Black colors are offered only with the Disc LED variant, the Ebony Black-Grey and Racing Red are reserved for the Drum LED.
