Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor team up for a new Romantic Comedy

The movie will have Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan starring alongside Bollywood queen Vaani Kapoor in an upcoming romantic comedy Hindi film. This exciting project comes from the producer of critically acclaimed films such as ‘Queen,’ ‘Udta Punjab,’ and ‘Super 30’.

The untitled rom-com aims to take audiences on a journey of two people who fortuitously find each other, heal each other’s broken lives, and ultimately fall in love. It hopes to create a touching but funny story that endears itself into readers’ hearts through storytelling based on healing and romance.

The entire film will be shot in the UK and will start its production in the fall. While specific locations remain undisclosed, London is expected to be a primary filming spot enhancing the romantic storyline with picturesque background.

This movie signifies an eagerly awaited comeback for Fawad Khan into the Indian cinema. His last appearance on Bollywood screen was in 2016 where he excelled in ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. He recently appeared on Marvel’s Ms. Marvel TV series that premiered on Disney + Hotstar before his upcoming release of Zee5’s Barzakh.

Director Aarti Bagdi will helm the film. She has made her directorial debut with Chalti Rahe Zindagi and has also contributed to an anthology short film Shuruat Ka Interval. Some of her earlier works include popular short films such as ‘Flight of Freedom,’ ‘Khamkha,’ and ‘Final Interval,’ as well as TV shows like’ Bebakke’and ‘Zindaggi Ki Crossroads’.

The film is produced by Eastwood Studios, a venture founded by former Reliance and Phantom executives Vivek B Agrawal and Devang Dholakia. This project marks their first international collaboration, adding to the anticipation and excitement surrounding the film.

With such a promising cast and crew, this romantic comedy is set to be one of those movies that fans cannot afford to miss out on when it comes out.
