Maruti Brezza Urbano Edition Prices, Features Leaked Before Launch

Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been ruling the sales chart ever since its market arrival. The subcompact SUV, which is currently in its second generation, will soon receive a new special edition. As per the leaked brochure scans, the limited edition will be based on the LXi and VXi trims and named the Maruti Brezza Urbano Edition. This special edition will be offered with some exclusive accessories while retaining the engine setup.

The scan shows that the Maruti Brezza Urbano Edition LXi variant will have garnish on the front grille and fog lamps, along with body side molding, front and rear skid plates, and a wheel arch kit. Inside, the model will have a touchscreen infotainment system, a reverse parking camera, and speakers.

Buyers will get 3D floor mats, metal sill guards, and number plate frames with the Brezza Urbano Edition LXi trim. There will also be some dashboard upgrade. It will also be available with the reverse parking camera, a wheel arch kit, fog lamps, and body side molding. The Brezza Urbano LXi and VXi with the aforementioned utility accessories will cost an additional Rs 42,000 and Rs 18,500, respectively.

For power, the new Brezza Urbano Edition will use the same 1.5L K15C petrol engine, producing a peak power of 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. The subcompact SUV model lineup comes with both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The latter also gets paddle shifters. The Brezza is claimed to deliver a fuel efficiency of 20.15kmpl with the manual gearbox and 19.80kmpl with the automatic transmission.

In other fresh updates, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza will be one of the beneficiaries of the brand’s in-house developed strong hybrid technology (codenamed HEV). This new system is reported to be significantly more cost-effective than Toyota’s series-parallel hybrid tech that’s currently available with the Grand Vitara and Invicto. The new-generation Maruti Brezza with the new strong hybrid tech will arrive in 2029.
