AP people have seen several PR stunts from YCP MLAs to Jagan calling himself Jagan Mavayya, but people know the difference between PR stunts and genuine actions these days, and the public rightly rewarded Jagan with 11 seats.
One of the main agendas for TDP or Kootami leaders is being available to the public, and Minister Nara Lokesh has been conducting Praja Darbar since the week he took charge as a minister.

Today, with Lokesh’s intervention, as many as 25 physically handicapped students who were clueless due to a bureaucratic GO in place received help. These students, despite their physical challenges, are all big achievers, having gained admissions into prestigious institutions like IIT, NIT, and IIIT.
However, they were clueless and distressed along with their parents because of the policy the Board of Intermediate Education has had in place for a long time.

But when one Vijayawada student, Prithvi Satyadev, who secured the 170th rank in this year’s JEE Advanced exams under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category, somehow got Lokesh’s WhatsApp number and reported the issue, Lokesh moved the entire machinery on a war footing and issued a new GO that will allow them to attend college.
Lokesh called Satyadev and his father Jayaram to learn about the problem in detail. Lokesh immediately summoned Board officials, gave directions, and made the officials issue a new order immediately.

All 25 students met Lokesh at his residence in Undavalli, and most importantly, their parents could not control their tears. Lokesh too got emotional seeing them, according to a source who was at this meeting. Lokesh also gave each student a laptop for college.
This is exactly what happens when the right person is positioned in the right place. Lokesh has the heart to respond to common people, and the way he resolved the entire issue by directly following up and calling the parents shows the commitment of this young leader.
