BYD has expanded its Atto 3 model lineup with a new entry-level variant named Dynamic, priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition makes the Atto 3 the most affordable electric SUV in India. The existing Premium and Superior trims are priced at Rs 29.85 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh, respectively. A major highlight of the new BYD Atto 3 Dynamic is its smaller 50kWh battery pack, which delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 468km on a full charge.
In comparison, the Premium and Superior trims are equipped with a 60.48kWh battery, offering a range of 521km. All three variants are powered by a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle, producing 204bhp and 310Nm of torque.
The smaller battery in the Atto 3 Dynamic can be fully charged using an AC charger in 8 hours, while the larger battery takes about 10 hours with an AC charger. There is also an option for DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes. All variants come with a 7kW home charger and a 3kWh portable charging box. The new BYD Atto 3 Dynamic trim lacks some features found in the higher trims, such as ADAS tech, an 8-speaker sound system, a multi-coloured ambient lighting system, a powered tailgate, adaptive LED headlights, and it comes with smaller 17-inch wheels. Additionally, the electric SUV model lineup now offers a new Cosmos Black colour scheme.
The top-end Superior trim exclusively includes features like a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, powered front seats, 7 airbags, an electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
