To commemorate its milestone of 20 lakh SUV sales, Tata Motors has announced special discounts on its SUV model lineup, including the Nexon EV, Punch EV, Harrier, and Safari. Under its latest “King of SUVs” campaign, the company has reduced the prices of the Harrier and Safari SUVs. The updated starting prices are now Rs 14.99 lakh for the Harrier and Rs 15.49 lakh for the Safari. Furthermore, buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 1.4 lakh on select variants of both models.
Tata Motors has sold 7 lakh units of the Nexon subcompact SUV, which is now available with benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh as part of Tata’s 7 in 7 celebration offer. For electric offerings, the Tata Nexon EV and Punch EV are running discounts of up to Rs 1.3 lakh. One must note that these benefits vary variant-wise, and the aforementioned offers are valid on bookings made until 31st July 2024.
In other updates, Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the all-new Curvv coupe SUV in the coming months. Ahead of its official arrival, the company has released teasers revealing its production-ready design details. Based on the Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, the Tata Curvv EV is expected to offer a range of around 450km to 500km on a single charge.
The carmaker will also introduce the Curvv with petrol, diesel, and CNG fuel options at a later stage. The Curvv petrol will use Tata’s all-new 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine making 125bhp. The diesel version will come with the Nexon’s 1.5L, 4-cylinder motor.
The interior of the upcoming coupe SUV will resemble that of the Harrier and Safari SUVs. It will feature a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, a four-spoke illuminated steering wheel, connected car features, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a sunroof, and many more advanced amenities.
