BRS is facing setbacks as many members are already jumping to Congress. In this context, there is a debate that six other MLAs from the GHMC are also ready to switch parties. BRS had secured most of the MLA seats in the city’s suburbs. Now that these MLAs are looking towards Congress, it could be a significant blow to BRS.
Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud will join Congress along with his followers today. Along with him, two municipal chairmen and some other followers will don the Congress scarf. Recently, Prakash Goud held an hour-long discussion with CM Revanth Reddy. Upon learning of this, the leadership of BRS became alert and attempted to pacify him.

There has been a rumor for some time that an MLA from the joint Rangareddy district left BRS and others are also looking towards Congress. It is known that Chevella MLA Yadayah recently left BRS and joined Congress. Others are preparing to follow in his footsteps. Five more BRS MLAs will wear Congress scarf on 13th.
BRS social media is targeting AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu regarding the BRS MLAs joining Congress. GHMC BRS MLAs met CBN last week when he came to Hyderabad for a delegation with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy.

On social media, BRS posted two photos of BRS MLAs with CBN and Revanth, trying to create the impression that the MLAs joined Congress under CBN’s direction. BRS claims that some of their MLAs are joining Congress under CBN’s influence. Most of the BRS MLAs in GHMC were from TDP in 2014.
