Prabhas’ latest sci-fi epic, Kalki 2898 AD, has emerged as an unstoppable force at the Hindi box office, showcasing remarkable growth even in its third week of release.
The film began its journey with a good first-week collection of Rs 156 crore, followed by a strong performance in its second week with Rs 62.50 crore.

Despite facing competition from new releases, including Sarfira and Hindustani 2, Kalki 2898 AD maintained its stronghold with a solid Friday collection of Rs 3.50 crore, marking a significant jump to Rs 7.25 crore on its third Saturday.
With this impressive growth of 110% on Saturday, Kalki 2898 AD has now amassed a total of Rs 229.25 crore at the box office and is expected to see another substantial spike on Sunday, further bolstering its impressive run.

Also, both Sarfira and Hindustani 2 turning out to be huge flops have benefitted Kalki 2898 AD a lot. Many shows of those two films have been shifted to Kalki by the exhibitors due to demand.
Kalki has had an uninterrupted run of sorts for three weeks which is unimaginable. The film is cruising fast towards the 250-crore mark with a potential to reach 265-270 crore in the long run.

The film is a bonafide superhit in Hindi and has set the base right for the arrival of a sequel in a couple of years.
