“Double iSmart” is scheduled for release next month. The mass actioner, which stars Ram Pothineni as the main hero, has recently begun promotional activities. The film’s theatrical business has also been closed.
According to reports, Prime Show Entertainments, which produced blockbuster “Hanu Man” and upcoming release “Darling,” has acquired the theatrical rights to “Double iSmart” for a substantial amount. Thus, Puri Jagannadh, the producer and director of “Double iSmart,” is relieved of financial burden.
“Double iSmart” is a sequel to the blockbuster “iSmart Shankar”. The film, billed as an out action entertainer, stars Kavya Thapar as the female lead and Sanjay Dutt in an important role. It will be released in all five languages.
Prime Show Entertainments’ Chaitanya Reddy and Niranjan Reddy believe they will recover their investment from Pan-Indian release.
