The Skoda Kushaq was the first model from the Czech automaker in India to come under the brand’s INDIA 2.0 project, followed by the Slavia mid-size sedan. Both models were introduced in FY2021-22. Aiming to boost their sales, the carmaker kept introducing new features and special editions of the Kushaq and Slavia. Now, the company is ready to give a mid-life update to both of them in 2025. The new Skoda Kushaq facelift and Slavia facelift are expected to receive a handful of cosmetic updates along with a bunch of new features. However, the engine setups are likely to be carried forward from the pre-facelifts. Read: New-Gen Skoda Kodiaq 7-Seater SUV Launch Details
On the exterior, the 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift might get a larger and slightly revised front grille, redesigned headlamps with a connected lighting strip, revised front and rear bumpers, newly designed alloy wheels, and new Kodiaq-inspired connected taillamps. Similar design changes are likely to be made on the 2025 Skoda Slavia facelift. Both model lineups could get new color schemes.

Talking about interior upgrades, the new Skoda Kushaq and Slavia facelifts are likely to come with new upholstery and trim. Both models could also be packed with the ADAS suite as the company earlier revealed that it will introduce the ADAS 2.0 technology and go “step-by-step” with the facelifts on its entire MQB A0-IN platform. Mid-size sedans like Hyundai Verna and Honda City and mid-size SUVs such as Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and Honda Elevate are already offered with the Level 2 ADAS tech.
As mentioned above, no changes will be made under the hood. The 2025 Skoda Kushaq and Slavia facelifts will come with the existing 150bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol and 115bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engines and three gearbox options – manual, torque converter automatic (with 1.0L variants only), and DSG automatic (with 1.5L variants only).
Skoda Auto has also confirmed a new compact SUV for India that’s slated to go on sale in early 2025.
