I was shocked to see the amount of EV chargers in Murthal almost all big dhabas have got chargers now.
BHPian Manuggn recently shared this with other enthusiasts.
So after one month of ownership of my Punch EV LR. I finally completed the first long trip (320 kms) Manesar – Panipat – Manesar
Started early morning from home with 98 % battery and reached Kundli with still 70 percent battery left. I was worried about the range so drove with caution maintaining a speed under 80 kmph.
Further, I have not used this route for the last 2 years so was not aware of the charging situation. The first stop was Sarovar Portico for breakfast and a quick charge. The battery was charged to 98 percent while we finished our breakfast. It took 20 mins to charge from 70 to 98 percent. (Statiq 60kw fast charger)
Further I was shocked to see the amount of EV chargers in Murthal almost all big dhabas have got chargers now. This gives me enough confidence to drive the car to its potential cruising between 80-110 kmph.
We reached Panipat in around an hour from Kundli and drove around 30 kms within the city.
The car performed well during the entire drive happy with the pickup and great driving confidence.
While returning we stopped at Mannat Dhaba. (Murthal) stopped here for coffee and was happy to see two fast chargers here as well.
Reached home at around 10 pm with 22 percent battery still available.
Overall it gave me lot of confidence will defiantly now plan a trip to Chandigarh and see it full potential.
