The much-anticipated trailer for the Hindi film Stree 2 has just dropped, and it matches the expectations.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Stree, which grossed nearly Rs 200 crore worldwide. Since then, Maddock Films has expanded this universe with other hits, including the recent Munjya, which earned Rs 130 crore globally.

The trailer introduces a new villain, ‘Sarkate’, a headless ghoul on horseback. The central trio of Vicky, Jana, and Bittu, calls upon Shraddha Kapoor’s mysterious character from the first film to help them tackle this new threat. Her dynamic entrance, complete with somersaults, sets the tone for an action-packed adventure.
Chanderi’s residents are once again in turmoil and this time, the ghost targets women, creating a fresh wave of panic.

The trailer is packed with visual scares and the crazy humor that fans expect. Shraddha Kapoor shines in her return, while Tamannaah stuns in an item song that could match Kaavalaa from Jailer. Rajkummar Rao’s performance as Vicky, though a bit exaggerated, fits the film’s comedic tone.
Stree 2 reunites the original cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, all of whom have grown in popularity since the first film. Akshay Kumar is reportedly playing a cameo in the film.

The trailer justifies the hype, suggesting the film could achieve the year’s biggest opening in Hindi and potentially become the biggest hit so far if the film gets a positive talk.
