Coming to the topic, Anirudh is by far one of the most important men associated with the project now. His music is going to be more important than initially anticipated.
To put that into perspective, the likes of KGF and Pushpa had blockbuster albums and BGM.

The elevation tracks of KGF did rounds on social media many days after the release. This elevation music recollection kept KGF fresh in the minds of the audience and it worked wonderfully well for the second part.
In the case of Pushpa, this film too had a winning album. Though the songs weren’t as popular before the release, they worked the trick after the release. These songs and BGM have kept this film relevant to this day.

Same logic will apply for Devara as well. The musical work for the film would be playing a crucial role in keeping the film relevant by the time second part releases.
For now, the Fear song is doing the trick. But the real deal will be to deliver with the second song and also the BGM work in the Final Cut.
The last time Anirudh delivered a banger was for Jailer and this is setting the stage for the sequel that is bound to happen sooner or later. The young musician must be in his element for Devara as well. He will be playing a crucial role in setting the stage for the second part.
