Since it is based on the Honda City platform and the launch presentations talked about enhanced safety, I believe the Elevate is structurally safer.

I eventually ended up buying the Honda Elevate ZX.
My reasons for choosing it over Hyundai Creta:
- VFM – My budget was 20L and this was a better package compared to Creta.
- Ease of driving – Fantastic seating position and great visibility all around. The lane watch camera is great for left-side blind spot monitoring.
- Reliability – Honda is known for this. They provide 3+2 years warranty which is extendable to 10 years.
- Ergonomics – Things are there where you need them. The dashboard is not cluttered with buttons.
- Safety – Since it is based on the City platform and the launch presentations talked about enhanced safety, I believe Elevate is structurally safer.
- Uniqueness – So many Cretas out there. Many of my relatives did not even know a vehicle like Elevate existed. So some novelty factor is there.
- Space – Better knee room and bigger and more usable boot. It can accommodate two 21-inch and two 25-inch suitcases. Found these pics on Honda’s Japan website for WRV. That site has some good practical images.
