People say that karma is a boomerang. It hits back at everyone at some point. Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the same situation right now.
While ruling the state, Jagan misused his power and often tried to humiliate opposition leaders.

Finally, people decided to dethrone him in this year’s elections. He suffered a crushing defeat against the NDA forces of TDP, JSP, and BJP.
Now, he may face humiliation in the assembly as well. Reports indicate that Jagan may not be eligible to sit in the first row of the assembly.

Assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh are set to begin tomorrow. Until now, the speaker hasn’t allocated seats for MLAs.
According to the reports, Jagan may not get a seat in the front row as he didn’t get opposition leader status. His party, YSR Congress, won only 11 seats in the elections and is not eligible for opposition status.

Though Jagan and his leaders requested opposition status, the speaker and parties in power didn’t accept the request because YCP failed to get 10% of the total seats in elections.
Out of 175 seats, Jagan’s YCP secured only 11 seats, which is less than 10%. Thus, as per the rules, YCP is ineligible for opposition status, and Jagan is ineligible for opposition leader’s status.
He will just be a floor leader and may have to sit somewhere in the assembly but not in the first row. This is a serious downfall for a leader who had been a Chief Minister. This is what Jagan has to pay for the things he has done.
