Prices of the Citroen Basalt coupe SUV will be announced on 2nd August 2024. Ahead of its market launch, the carmaker has dropped yet another teaser revealing some of its key features. The Basalt shares its components with the C3 Aircross, such as leatherette seats, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with cube-shaped AC vents just below it, a digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control. However, it gets new toggle switches for the HVAC controls instead of the rotary dials.

What further differentiates it from the C3 Aircross is the new, bigger front armrest with a storage compartment and revised rear headrests. The coupe SUV is also likely to come with front and rear USB chargers, steering-mounted controls, wireless charging, electric folding mirrors, push-button start and keyless entry, adjustable headrests, dual airbags, hill hold control, reverse parking sensors, ABS with EBD, cruise control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Besides sharing powertrain and features, the upcoming coupe SUV from Citroen will borrow design elements from the C3 Aircross. Upfront, it features a two-part grille with a slightly different finish, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a chromed Chevron logo, a faux silver skid plate, and a pronounced bonnet.
