Mahindra Scorpio N is one of the top-selling SUVs from the Pune-based carmaker in the country. With the Scorpio brand (both Classic and N), the company managed to achieve its highest-ever cumulative annual sales of 4,59,877 units in the financial year 2024.
Recently, Mahindra rolled out an OTA (over-the-air) update for the Scorpio N, addressing battery drain problems and issues related to the Home Screen Alexa and more. Furthermore, the SUV now has a system-integrated online owner’s manual instead of a third-party app.
How to Download the Latest Scorpio N OTA Update?
Owners of the Mahindra Scorpio N can download the latest OTA update by putting their SUV in ‘Park’ with the handbrake on and the engine running. The download and installation will be done over the Vi e-sim that’s offered with the vehicle. The entire update procedure will be completed in nearly 35-40 minutes.

Other Fresh Updates
Recently, the carmaker introduced a few new features on the top-end Z8L variant of the Scorpio N. The model gets ventilated seats, an auto-dimming IRVM, a wireless charger with a cooling function, and a high-gloss finish on the center console. The Z8 trim is also offered in the Midnight Black paint scheme. Interestingly, all the aforementioned updates came at no additional charge.
Earlier this year, the Mahindra Scorpio X name was trademarked, which is likely to be used for the Scorpio N-based lifestyle pickup. The model was first showcased as the Global Pik Up, and its production-ready version is reported to arrive in 2026. The unveiled concept was equipped with Mahindra’s 2.2L diesel engine, delivering 172bhp and 400Nm of torque. The carmaker has already confirmed that the lifestyle pickup truck will come with both manual and automatic gearboxes. The Global Pik Up underpins the new steel heavy ladder-on-frame platform, which is lighter and stiffer than Mahindra’s existing platform-based vehicles.
