On one side, TDP cadre feel that Chandrababu Naidu has not been strict enough against YSRCP leaders and cadre even 45 days after taking charge. Supporting their claim, the TDP government allowed former Chief Minister YS Jagan’s car inside the assembly campus.

The government decided to permit Jagan’s vehicle inside the Assembly despite YSRCP not having the opposition status. This decision was taken as per the request of the YSRCP legislature party. Jagan got into an argument with the police, insisting on entering the assembly from the main gate, even though the AP government had granted him such a privilege.
The former CM and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has not shown any signs of change. This culminated in a fight with the police. The AP government had decided to allow YS Jagan’s car inside the Assembly. Generally, MLAs are required to get down outside gate number 4 of the assembly and walk inside.

Jagan demanded to be allowed to enter through the main gate of the assembly. However, the police suggested he use a different gate because the governor was arriving. This led to a confrontation. Jagan suggested protesting at the gate of the Legislative Assembly.
Then YS Jagan and YCP MLAs staged a protest at the gate, chanting “police down.” At the same time, as the Governor’s convoy arrived, Jagan’s team was not allowed to enter through the main gate. Ultimately, Jagan’s team entered through a different gate.
