“Bahishkarana”, currently streaming on ZEE5, is the latest web series that Anjali starred in. The actress portrayed the character of Pushpa, a rural woman and prostitute, and her performance has received praise from the viewers.
The actress is elated with the positive reception. “I greatly enjoyed portraying the character of Pushpa in Bahishkarana,” Anjali reveals. Anjali admits that she initially felt uneasy about performing bold moments and accepts that it was difficult to accomplish them.
“After filming one of the intense scenes in Bahishkarana, I experienced a range of emotions and eventually had a breakdown,” Anjali confesses.
“Perhaps it was due to the novelty of performing such a scene for the first time, or perhaps I was not adequately psychologically prepared for it. Following an intense and emotionally charged scene, I experienced a sudden emotional breakdown,” sge added,
“I filmed the steamy scenes with a small number of people on set. The director ensured that the crew was limited and that I felt at ease,” she affirms.
“Bahishkarana,” Mukesh Prajapathi, is a currently available as six-episode series on ZEE 5.
