Samsung recently found itself in a controversy related to Galaxy Buds 3 Pro quality control issues. And it looks like that isn’t the only issue with the company’s recently released wearable devices. One Galaxy Watch Ultra has a weird quality control issue that wasn’t found on any of its previous smartwatches.

Some Galaxy Watch Ultra units have display alignment quality control issue

One unlucky buyer has received a Galaxy Watch Ultra whose hour markings on the circular bezel don’t align with the watch face’s hour markings. This is likely due to a misaligned OLED panel, not the watch bezel. It points towards imperfect quality control during the smartwatch’s manufacturing process. You don’t need to worry, though, as this seems to be a one-off case.

All other Galaxy Watch Ultra users commenting on the buyer’s Reddit thread have confirmed that the issue isn’t present on their device. Our Galaxy Watch Ultra review units don’t have the screen misalignment issue. While Samsung hasn’t commented on the issue, it will likely offer a replacement unit for that unlucky Galaxy Watch Ultra buyer.

Compared to widespread quality control issues with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Watch Ultra problem is not something to be alarmed about. Several users have reported that the silicon ear tips on their Galaxy Buds 3 Pro were damaged while being replaced. Due to this issue, Samsung decided to stop the pre-orders, double-check the earbuds that are scheduled to be manufactured or shipped, and delay pre-order shipments.

Years ago, the South Korean firm faced a massive quality control issue related to the Galaxy Note 7 battery. The battery inside the phone was prone to catching fire. The problem was so big and critical that airlines notified flyers worldwide that the Galaxy Note 7 wouldn’t be allowed on the flight.
