Olympic Games Paris 2024, Indians in action Live: Manu Bhaker brought some cheer to the Indian contingent to kickstart the Paris 2024 campaign on Day 1 as she progressed to the final in the women’s 10m air pistol final, three years after enduring a heartbreak in this event at Tokyo. Bhaker was steady through the qualification round to finish 3rd and book her spot in the 8-shooter final that will take place on Sunday at 3.30 pm IST.
Earlier, India’s rifle shooters Ramita Jindal-Arjun Babuta, pistol shooter Sarabjot Singh endured close misses from progressing out of their respective qualification events on another tough day for Indian shooters. The former duo finished 1 point behind the cutoff to qualify for the bronze medal match while Sarabjot missed out on a place in the individual 10m air pistol final on the count of inner 10s.
