Tamil Rockers is one of the most popular pirate websites in the Indian cinema space. Many films’ pirated prints land on Tamil Rockers on the release day itself.
Numerous films witnessed financial losses due to this pirate website. Meanwhile, Kerala police have recently arrested Tamil Rockers’ admin Jeb Stephen Raj in Thiruvananthapuram when he was caught uploading the pirated version of Dhanush’s latest release, Raayan.

It was found out that Jeb Stephen Raj is from Madurai, Tamil Nadu and he had been uploading theatre-prints of various films on Tamil Rockers for a long time.
Stephen shot the entire Raayan in a theatre and was found uploading it online when the police caught him. In the investigation, Stephen revealed that 12 members were working on the website.

The Kerala police were alerted on movie piracy cases when Prithviraj Sukumaran’s wife Supirya filed a complaint when the actor’s recent release “Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil” was on privacy websites just a day after its theatrical release.
It was revealed that Jeb Stephen Raj has been uploading movies on the Telegram app as well, apart from the Tamil Rockers websites. The police have found copies of Kalki 2898 AD and Maharaja, apart from Raayan.

The culprit was sent to five days judicial custody and the police are further investigating the matter.
