This week sees the release of two high-profile films, Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh and Ajay Devgn’s Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha. Despite the involvement of big names like Janhvi Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Neeraj Pandey, and Gulshan Devaiah, both films are expected to open to disastrous numbers.
Advance bookings are so dismal that no trade site is reporting the figures. Reports indicate that in many multiplexes across the country, not a single ticket has been sold. This has led to a decision not to publish the numbers to avoid further negativity around these films.

The situation is so dire that the PVR-INOX chain of multiplexes is resorting to re-releasing old comedy hits like Raja Babu, Masti, Golmaal, and Golmaal Returns at a reduced ticket price of Rs. 112 from August 2 to August 14 to attract some audience to theaters.
However, it is predicted that August 15 will once again see a big boom at the box office with Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa, and Double iSmart releasing to cash in on the Independence Day holiday season.

The lineup promises a mix of horror-comedy, thrillers, and action-packed entertainment, aiming to draw large crowds and rejuvenate the box office.
