Hyundai Motor India has introduced the Grand i10 Nios hatchback with the CNG dual-cylinder technology, which debuted with the Exter micro SUV. The new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG dual cylinder is being offered in two variants – Magna and Sportz – priced at Rs 7.75 lakh and Rs 8.30 lakh, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Compared to their single-cylinder CNG and regular petrol counterparts, the hatchback’s twin-cylinder CNG variants are nearly Rs 7,000 and Rs 97,000 more expensive, respectively.
The powertrain setup of the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG dual-cylinder model consists of a 1.2L, four-cylinder petrol engine and two CNG fuel tanks (combined capacity of 60 liters) placed underneath the boot floor. The setup delivers a maximum power of 69 PS and 95.2 Nm of torque. It can be had only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Hyundai claims that the Grand i10 Nios CNG dual-cylinder delivers a fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/kg.

No other changes have been made to the new Magna and Sportz CNG dual-cylinder variants. Similar to their regular counterparts, these trims offer an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, a 3.5-inch MID instrument cluster, 2-DIN integrated audio system, steering wheel-mounted controls, rear AC vents, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, fast USB charger, rear power windows, automatic AC, rear parking camera, rear defogger, electric folding wing mirrors, driver seat height adjustment, and tire pressure monitoring system.
In other fresh updates, the South Korean automaker will soon roll out the updated Hyundai Alcazar three-row SUV featuring minimal cosmetic changes and feature upgrades. One of the major highlights will be the addition of the Level 2 ADAS suite. The SUV will also receive a new Maroon paint scheme; however, the engine setup will remain intact. A minor price hike is expected. Currently, the Alcazar model lineup comes within the price range of Rs 16.77 lakh – Rs 21.28 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
