Kurnool: District collector P. Ranjit Basha announced that Kurnool district has achieved first place at the state level with a 97.96 percent distribution under the NTR Bharosa scheme. In a statement on Thursday, the collector said that out of 2,43,337 pensions in Kurnool district, 2,38,372 were distributed on the day. The Collector also mentioned that efforts are underway to ensure the remaining 4,965 pensions are distributed by Friday, aiming for 100 percent completion.

Visakhapatnam: Bharat Kisan Sangh has announced plans to observe an environmentally friendly Vinayaka Chaviti in Visakhapatnam by creating one lakh clay Vinayaka idols. President Jalagam Kumaraswamy announced this during a media briefing at the Nature Based Farmers Association office in Sivajipalem. The initiative includes a competition to craft clay Ganesha idols aimed at engaging individuals of all age groups, including students and enthusiasts.
