Ola Electric has released a new teaser of its upcoming electric bike, which will make its official debut on 15th August 2024. The video teaser shows the bike’s front fascia featuring a dual LED projector headlight setup, horizontally placed DRL, a raised handlebar and a windscreen. It has an upright riding position and large tank shrouds. It appears to be an entry-level, roadster-style EV that will be based on the diamond-type split double cradle frame.
The bikemaker is likely to use a compact, in-house battery pack, fitted in the place of the fuel tank. Its expected to deliver a range of around or above 200km. Suspension setup might include the conventional telescopic fork and a monoshock unit. Braking power is likely to come from the front and rear disc brakes, which could be further assisted by ABS (anti-lock braking system).

When it comes to features, the upcoming Ola electric bike is likely to come with a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, Ola Maps, ride modes, geo fencing, proximity lock and unlock and more.
Official launch details of the new Ola electric bike are yet to be revealed. Though, it’s likely to debut in its production-ready avatar by mid 2025. With an estimated price of around Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom), the model will be positioned against the Tork Kartos R, Revolt RV400 and Oben Rorr.
