Tata Curvv EV recently went on sale in the country at a starting price of Rs 17.49 lakh. The carmaker has confirmed that bookings will begin on 12th August, with test drives starting from 14th August onwards. The electric SUV coupe is being offered in five trims: Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A. There are two battery pack options: a 45kWh (available only with the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S variants) and a 55kWh (available only with the Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A variants).
The carmaker claims that the SUV coupe offers a range of 502km with the smaller 45kWh battery and 585km with the larger 55kWh battery pack. While the former accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 9 seconds, the latter can achieve 0 to 100kmph in 8.6 seconds. The Curvv EV’s battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes using a 70kW charger, and it can be charged for up to 150km of range in just 15 minutes with the same charging source. It comes with both V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) charging capabilities. Buyers can choose between the two battery packs based on their commuting needs.
