Around one and a half months ago, Samsung started getting its upcoming Galaxy A06 benchmarked and certified by various platforms and agencies to prepare it for launch. In June, we spotted the device on Geekbench and Wi-Fi Alliance. In July, it appeared on FCC, Bluetooth SIG, and UL Demko. Now, the South Korean tech giant has gotten the Galaxy A06 certified by another platform, Google Play Console.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI
The variant of the Galaxy A06 that Google has certified has the model number SM-A065M. According to the listing, the phone has a display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, 4GB RAM, and Android 14 (most likely with One UI 6.1). Although the listing doesn’t reveal anything that we didn’t already know, it suggests that the Galaxy A06 is now one step closer to launch.

We also got to see the renders of the Galaxy A06. They revealed that the phone will have a Key Island design and will be available in at least two colors, grey and white. The only thing remaining for us to know are details about its camera sensors, and of course, price and availability. Hopefully, we will get to know those details as its launch nears. Samsung could launch it alongside the Galaxy A16 later this year.
