“Stree 2”, the sequel to the horror comedy ‘Stree’, will hit theaters on August 15. Along with this Bollywood film, “Khel Khel Mein” and “Vedaa” will also be in theaters. While Akshay Kumar stars in “Khel Khel Mein,” John Abraham plays the male protagonist in “Vedaa.” Despite the presence of prominent male stars in the competition, Shraddha Kapoor wields more clout at the box office.
“Stree 2” receives 50% of total multiplex screens in India, while “Khel Khel Mein” and “Vedaa” share the remaining 50% of screens. The advance bookings are also positive for Shraddha Kapoor’s film. Clearly, she has the upper hand this time.
