Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the variant-wise prices of its new Thar Roxx off-road SUV, which is available with both petrol and diesel engines. It should be noted that the complete price list of the Mahindra Thar Roxx is yet to be revealed. For now, the carmaker has announced the prices of the RWD petrol and diesel variants.
The new Thar Roxx model lineup includes two petrol variants: the MX1 manual and the MX3 automatic, priced at Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 14.99 lakh, respectively. Both variants come with an RWD setup. There are six diesel manual variants: the MX1 RWD, MX3 RWD, and MX5 RWD, priced at Rs 13.99 lakh, Rs 15.99 lakh, and Rs 16.99 lakh, respectively.

The AX3L RWD manual version has also been priced at Rs 16.99 lakh. The SUV offers a single AX5L RWD diesel automatic variant, which costs Rs 18.99 lakh. The AX7L RWD manual version is also available at Rs 18.99 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. The entry-level variant of the Thar Roxx is nearly Rs 1.64 lakh more expensive than the 3-door Thar.
Bookings for the new Mahindra off-road SUV have already been commenced nationwide. Its test drives will begin from 3rd October, while deliveries will start Dussehra – i.e. 12th October, 2024.

The engine options for the Mahindra Thar Roxx include a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L diesel unit, delivering power outputs of 177PS with 380Nm and 175PS with 370Nm, respectively. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The SUV has an approach angle of 41.7 degrees, a breakover angle of 23.9 degrees, and a departure angle of 36.1 degrees. It has a water wading capacity of 650mm. In terms of features, the new Thar Roxx offers a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with a 560W amplifier, ventilated front seats, and more.
Mahindra has equipped the off-road SUV with advanced safety features, including Level 2 ADAS, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, hill hold and descent control, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
