A tragic car crash in Texas has claimed the lives of three Indian Americans, turning what was supposed to be a joyous occasion into a heartbreaking loss.
Arvind Mani, 45, his wife Pradeepa Arvind, 40, and their 17-year-old daughter Andril Arvind were killed in a head-on collision on July 14.

The family was traveling to the University of Texas at Dallas, where Andril was set to start her college journey in computer science.
The fatal accident occurred when a 2004 Cadillac lost control after a rear tire blowout and drifted into oncoming traffic, colliding with the Kia Telluride driven by Arvind Mani.

The Cadillac, which witnesses reported speeding, was driven by 31-year-old Jacinto Gudino Duran, who also died alongside his 23-year-old female passenger.
Back home, the couple’s 14-year-old son, Adiryan, who had just started his first day of high school, now faces an unimaginable reality of life without his parents and sister.

A family friend, Rajaraman Venkatachalam, has started a fundraising page to support Adiryan.
