New Hyundai Alcazar Launching On 9th Sep

The updated Hyundai Alcazar has been in testing for a long time, and we have seen its test mules multiple times via spy images and videos. Now, the facelifted version of the three-row SUV is ready to hit the roads. The South Korean automaker is set to announce the prices of the new Alcazar facelift on 9th September, 2024. The SUV is likely to receive minor cosmetic changes and feature upgrades, while the engine mechanism is expected to remain intact.

Most of its design changes will be inspired by the Creta. The new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will feature a slightly tweaked front grille and bumper, while the headlamp clusters with a split setup will remain unchanged. The side profile will be revised with newly designed alloy wheels and side claddings. Minimal changes will also be made to the rear section. The facelifted Alcazar might come with newly designed taillamps and a redesigned tailgate. No changes will be made to its dimensions.

As mentioned above, the new Hyundai Alcazar facelift will continue to use the 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. While the gasoline unit delivers a maximum power of 160bhp and 253Nm of torque, the diesel engine produces 116bhp and 250Nm of torque. The SUV model lineup will be available with three gearbox options: a 6-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed automatic (diesel only), and a 7-speed DCT automatic (petrol only).

With this mid-life update, the new 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to see a minor price hike. The SUV’s current version is available in the price range of Rs 16.78 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
