Audi India has rolled out the updated Q8 SUV at a starting price of Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can book the new model with a token sum of Rs 5 lakh at any authorized Audi dealership or via Audi’s official website. The new 2024 Audi Q8 receives a few cosmetic updates and feature upgrades, while the engine setup has been carried forward from the pre-facelift model.
The SUV is available in eight color options: Sakhir Gold, Tamarind Brown, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Waitomo Blue, and Vicuna Beige. Buyers also get four interior themes to choose from, namely, Saiga Beige, Okapi Brown, Pando Gray, and Black.
Talking about design changes, the new Audi Q8 facelift features a blacked-out trapezoid-shaped grille, newly-designed HD matrix LED headlamps with revised LED DRLs, an updated front bumper, and a wider air dam at the front end. The slightly tweaked rear bumpers and new OLED taillamps further enhance its refreshing look.
Minimal changes have been made inside the cabin. The 2024 Audi Q8 facelift gets a new interior theme, new seat upholstery stitching, and new trim inserts on the dashboard. The interior layout and features remain intact. The SUV continues to offer a 12.3-inch driver’s display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four-zone climate control, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a HUD, a 360-degree camera, heated and ventilated front seats with a massage function, multiple airbags, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and park assist.
Under the hood, the new Audi Q8 features the same 3.0L V6 turbo petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid technology. The setup delivers a maximum power of 340PS and 500Nm of torque. With an 8-speed automatic gearbox, this powertrain can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 5.6 seconds. Its electronic speed limit is 250kmph.
