Varun Tej has been busy filming for his next pan-Indian project titled “Matka.” Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, is now the new location for the shooting.
In Kakinada and surrounding regions, the team will be filming both the dialogue scenes and the action scenes that feature the main characters. Directed by Karuna Kumar, the movie focuses on a gambler from the 1970s and 1980s.
The film covers a duration of 24 years, starting in 1958 and ending in 1982, featuring Varun Tej in various diverse appearances.
Meenakshi Chaudhry and Nora Fatehi are the heroines. GV Prakash Kumar is responsible for composing the music. Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri, under the banners of Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainment, produce it.
