Stree 2 has emerged as one of the highest-grossing films of 2024. The latest entry from the Maddock Supernatural Universe surprised trade analysts after it clashed with two more films on the same day and turned out to be successful.

All the elements in the film, including the comedy sequences and performances of the lead cast members impressed the public. Things were so flawless that audiences entered the theatres even though the ticket rates remained high in the second week.
Meanwhile, one of the leads, Rajkummar Rao, recalled the first film’s memories as he recently appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast. He addressed the climax of Stree where he had to speak to the ghost by looking into her eyes with love.

The Newton star revealed in the conversation that he likes to improvise on set and the film’s director Amar Kaushik also never objects to the same. Rao additionally stated that Kaushik intervenes only if the former goes wrong while working.
Rao said that his character has to get scared in the climax when the ghost is standing in front and since he had to look with love, he began imitating Shah Rukh Khan. Rao mentioned that the reason for doing this was King Khan’s expertise with the word love and that he grew up watching the Jawan star’s films.

Apart from Rao, Stree 2 also features Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar have made cameo appearances in the horror comedy.
