I was amazed by the interiors too – though slightly dated and plenty of hard plastics, it felt very well put together.

Took a test drive of the 3XO 1.2 Manual (TCMPFi I believe?) and am mighty impressed with this car! It was an AX5 variant that looked so well kitted with superbly comfortable seats and amazing driving experience
Likes:
- Absolutely brilliant engine with plenty of power
- Very spacious interiors and good rear seat comfort
- Good view from drivers seat
- Feels super solid and not a single rattle in a 10k run demo car
- Dual zone AC worked perfectly well
- Ride and handling was brilliant – drove through some curves and felt very confident, planted
- Long list of features, 6 airbags across the line and well priced
Dislikes:
- There was a micro second delay from when I press the horn and to when the horn actually works
- Bolstering of front seats felt a bit too narrow for a decently wide bodied individual like me
- Manual gear stick was vibrating a bit in Idle and throws were pretty long, though slick
- Second gear ratio felt a bit too high. Needed to keep shifting between 3rd and 2nd quite frequently.
- Relatively lesser boot space but better than before I believe?
- AT vs manual is a whopping 2L away
- Lacklustre dealership experience
Otherwise, this car is such VFM and feels super mature.I was amazed by the interiors too – though slightly dated and plenty of hard plastics, it felt very well put together. The basics of the car – engine + gearbox + ride comfort + handling – these are so well sorted! I am smitten by the improvement showcased by Mahindra.
