MG Motor India continues to drop teasers of its upcoming Windsor EV, revealing intriguing exterior and interior details. Touted as an “intelligent CUV,” the new MG electric crossover is essentially a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV sold in the Indonesian market. In the company’s product lineup, the new MG Windsor EV will be positioned below the ZS EV and won’t have a direct rival in the country. The carmaker has already confirmed that this new CUV will be priced below Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The latest teaser confirms that the major highlight of the Windsor’s interior is its 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will be the largest in its segment. The company calls it a GrandView Touch Display, claimed to offer “an immersive experience with your favorite content” on the go. The unit, which features a dual-tone design with bronze accents, is likely to support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Just below the infotainment system are central AC vents, ambient lighting on the dashboard, and an automatic climate control panel.

The new MG CUV, or compact crossover, offers a flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, a digital driver display, electrically adjustable front seats, a fixed panoramic glass roof, a wireless phone charger, a powered tailgate, and many more features. On the safety front, the new MG Windsor EV will include advanced features such as an electronic parking brake, a tire pressure monitoring system, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera. The CUV might also come equipped with the ADAS suite.
Specifications of the Windsor EV have yet to be revealed, though it’s expected to be offered with 37.9kWh and 50.6kWh battery packs, paired with a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor. While the smaller battery pack will deliver a range of 360km, the larger battery is expected to promise a range of 460km on a full charge.
