Skoda Slavia, the midsize sedan from the Czech automaker, has received a new Sportline trim along with the sportier Monte Carlo edition. The carmaker has announced that the first 5,000 bookings for these two new models will receive benefits worth Rs 30,000. However, this offer will be valid only until September 6, 2024. The Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo is available with all three engine-gearbox combinations, priced at Rs 15.79 lakh (1.0L MT), Rs 16.89 lakh (1.0L AT), and Rs 18.49 lakh (1.5L AT).

Similarly, the new Slavia Sportline variant, with 1.0L MT, 1.0L AT, and 1.5L AT powertrains, is priced at Rs 14.05 lakh, Rs 15.15 lakh, and Rs 16.75 lakh, respectively. This new trim is positioned between the mid-spec Signature and top-end Prestige trims. Bookings for the Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo and Sportline have commenced nationwide. Interested buyers can take a test drive at any authorized Skoda dealership.

Based on the Prestige trim, the new Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition features a few cosmetic enhancements and feature upgrades over the regular model. The special edition sedan can be equipped with either a 1.0L three-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine or a 1.5L four-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine. The former delivers a maximum power of 115 bhp with 175 Nm of torque, while the latter produces 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed torque converter automatic (available only with the 1.0L variant), and a 7-speed DCT automatic (available only with the 1.5L variant). Compared to the regular Slavia, the Monte Carlo edition has a sportier appearance. It features a blacked-out front grille, black ORVMs, black 16-inch alloy wheels, black front and side skirts, and a boot spoiler. The black treatment continues on the fog lamp assembly, door handles with dark chrome accents, window darkened badges, black bumper garnish, and smoked LED taillamps. The Monte Carlo edition is available in two colors – Candy White and Tornado Red.
Inside, the new Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo edition has a red and black theme with a black dashboard and red inserts. The sedan features dual-tone (red and black) seat upholstery with ‘Monte Carlo’ embossments on the headrests and Monte Carlo scuff plates. It also offers a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while the 8-inch digital instrument cluster comes with a sporty red theme. Additional features include a black roof with an electric sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, and aluminum pedals.
Similar to the Monte Carlo, the Skoda Slavia Sportline features a black finish along with elements such as black 16-inch alloy wheels, new grey fabric upholstery, aluminum pedals, a powered sunroof, and other goodies.
