Hyderabad: The southern discom on Wednesday took action against 19 employees for dereliction of duties, corruption and complaints received from residents. Some of the employees have received memos seeking explanation.
The Keesara divisional engineer was suspended, his counterparts from Gachibowli and Patancheru were asked to report to the corporate office. Notices were served on the Rajendranagar divisional engineer and assistant divisional engineer, Mehdipatnam assistant division engineer, assistant engineers of Masab Tank and Kismatpur. The Madhapur assistant engineer was transferred to the corporate office.
The Narsingi line inspector, Allapur and artisans of Allapur were suspended. Showcause notices were served on the Ibrahimbagh divisional engineer and the assistant divisional engineer was asked to report to the corporate office.
