Bajaj Auto has introduced the new Chetak Blue 3202 variant at Rs 1,15,018 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). It’s essentially an updated version of the Urbane variant, carrying a new nameplate along with an updated battery pack. Compared to its predecessor, the Urbane, which was priced at Rs 1,23,319, the new Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 is approximately Rs 8,300 more affordable. This new variant features the same 4.2kWh battery, but its range has been increased to 137km from 126km. It comes with an offboard 650W charger that fully charges its battery pack in 5 hours and 50 minutes.
The new Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 offers two riding modes – Eco and Sports – and delivers a top speed of 73kmph. Like the Urbane, the new variant features a coloured LCD display that shows information such as battery level, odometer, speed, trip details, and other readouts. It supports smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and provides call/SMS alerts. The Blue 3202 is equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels and MRF Zapper tyres.
The e-scooter’s braking power is provided by front and rear drum brakes. Suspension duties are handled by a trailing link front and monoshock rear unit. An optional TecPac, costing an additional Rs 5,000, is available. It includes two riding modes, hill-hold assist, and a reverse mode. The Chetak model lineup is offered in four colour schemes – Black, White, Blue, and Grey.
The Chetak Blue 3202 variant continues to compete with the Ola S1 Air, TVS iQube, and Ather Rizta.
