Hyundai Motor India is preparing to give the Venue a generational update in 2025, which will be followed by the new-generation Grand i10 Nios hatchback in late 2027. Hyundai will use its new Talegaon-based manufacturing facility for the production of the all-new Venue. Reports suggest that the subcompact SUV’s new model will enter production in October 2025. Codenamed QU2i, the 2025 Hyundai Venue is expected to feature significant design changes and feature upgrades. It may continue to use the existing platform while retaining the same powertrains.

Currently, the Venue offers three engine options: an 83bhp 1.2L petrol, a 120bhp 1.0L turbo petrol, and a 100bhp 1.5L diesel. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual (with the 1.2L NA petrol only), a 6-speed manual (with the diesel only), an iMT (with the turbo-petrol only), and a 7-speed DCT automatic (with the turbo-petrol only). The higher trims of the subcompact SUV offer three drive modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), which can be accessed via a rotary dial on the centre console.
