BREAKING: Here’s your first look at Galaxy S25 Ultra’s neat design

Samsung’s next flagship smartphone will be the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which will likely be launched in January 2025. However, months before its announcement, several aspects of the phone have been revealed, including its design, which was leaked today. This shows how Samsung opted for a neater design for its next flagship.

Galaxy S25 Ultra design brings one big change for improved comfort

The design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra was revealed by leakster @OnLeaks and AndroidHeadlines. As you can see in the image below, the phone doesn’t veer too far off from the design of its predecessor, but it still brings a major change that improves the overall comfort.

BREAKING: Here’s your first look at Galaxy S25 Ultra’s neat design

It has a flat, glass-covered front and rear design, while its sides are metal (known through antenna lines). The Galaxy S25 Ultra has curved corners, but the radius of the corner’s curvature isn’t as small as that of the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Still, those curved corners are an improvement over the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s share.

There is a 6.9-inch screen on the front with a punch-hole-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera. The bezels around the screen appear thinner than those of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. On the rear, there are four cameras and an LED flash. Ridged circular covers surround each camera.

A recent report claimed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is 8.2mm thin, making it 0.4mm thinner than its predecessor. It measures 162.8mm tall and 77.6mm wide. Overall, the phone looks like a slightly neater, more compact, and more sophisticated version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, featuring flat sides, rounded corners, and thinner bezels.

What else to expect from Galaxy S25 Ultra?

Previous reports claim that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, 12GB/16GB RAM, up to 1TB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

It will reportedly have a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, two 50MP telephoto cameras, and a 12MP selfie camera. It will run Android 15-based One UI 7.1 software out of the box and get seven years of Android OS updates. One UI 7.1 will bring more powerful AI features, a revamped UI design, and smoother animations and transitions.

The phone will likely have stereo speakers, S Pen, an under-display fingerprint reader, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and satellite connectivity for emergency messaging.
