BARC released the Ratings for Telugu News Channels for Week 36.

TV9 is in the first position in the 15+ Age Group in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Channel has been maintaining an unexplainable lead over NTV since the election season. Experts are unable to explain why.

In the same category in Hyderabad, TV9 has maintained almost double the rating of NTV.
NTV is in the second position and Telangana-centered News Channel, V6 News is in the third position.

TV5 and ABN-Andhrajyothy are in the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-owned Sakshi Channel is in the Sixth Position.
The Channel got a minor spike in its Ratings during the election season but nosedived quickly afterward. It has been consistently clocked with less than 20 ratings after the elections.
In Hyderabad, T News in the third position ahead of ABN and TV5 is a surprise and also a big improvement.
In the AP and TS segments as well, T News is doing reasonably well and is ahead of ETV AP, 10TV, and ETV Telangana.
It is known that T News is owned by the BRS Party and is the mouthpiece of the Opposition party.
We will have to observe the ratings in the coming days if this could be a consistent trend. If it is, BRS will take it as a positive ahead of the GHMC elections whenever they happen.
