Vijay has already floated a political party. His party would contest every seat in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections planned for 2026. He will cease performing in films by mid-2025 to concentrate on his political career.
His concluding film will be his 69th, referred to as #Thalapathy69, and will be directed by H Vinoth. The pre-production phase for this project is currently in progress. Samantha, Simran, and Mamita are being considered for the female main roles.
