2024 Kia Carnival Variant-Wise Features; +1800 Bookings in 1 Day

Official bookings for the new 2024 Kia Carnival MPV commenced on 16th September 2024, with an initial booking amount of Rs 2 lakh. On the very first day, the model received 1,822 pre-orders, showcasing the excitement it has generated among buyers. Its prices are slated to be announced on 3rd October, along with the brand’s flagship EV9 electric SUV. The new Carnival will be offered in two trims – Limousine and Limousine Plus.

In terms of features, the Carnival Limousine variant is packed with lots of premium goodies including dual 12.3-inch curved displays (one for the infotainment system and one for instrument functions), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a dual sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, an 8-way powered co-driver seat, a 12-way powered driver seat, a 4-spoke steering wheel, second-row captain seats with heating and ventilation, electrically sliding rear doors, a 7-seat configuration with a 2+2+3 arrangement, automatic LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, a surround-view camera system, and rear parking sensors.

With the Limousine variant, you also get a Level 2 ADAS suite offering features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, high beam assist, front collision warning and avoidance assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, and more. The safety kit includes electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, a surround-view camera system, and front, rear, and side parking sensors. The top-end Limousine Plus variant adds a few exclusive features, including a HUD, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, electrically adjustable second-row seats, a wireless charger, rain-sensing wipers, puddle lamps, LED rear fog lights, and a powered tailgate.

Under the hood, the new Kia Carnival retains the same 2.2L, 4-cylinder diesel engine, producing 193bhp and 441Nm of torque. Compared to its previous version, the new model is nearly 7bhp less powerful but offers 1Nm more torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, sending power to the front wheels.
