The new TVS Apache RR 310 recently went on sale in India. Priced at Rs 2.75 lakh, the bike’s new model is nearly Rs 3,000 more expensive than its previous version. One must note that its just the starting price for the entry-level Red without quick-shifter variant. The Red with quick shifter and Bomber Grey variants are priced at Rs 2.92 lakh and Rs 2.97 lakh, respectively. Buyers have three ‘Built To Order’ packages including Dynamic Kit, Dynamic Pro Kit and Race Replica Colour, which cost an additional Rs 18,000, Rs 16,000 and Rs 7,000, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
Major changes have been made to its bodywork, feature and engine fronts. The new TVS Apache RR 310’s 312.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine has been tuned for generating more power and torque. Now, the motor delivers a claimed power of 38bhp at 9,800rpm and 29Nm of torque at 7,900rom. The unit has been benefited with a larger diameter throttle body, a higher compression ratio, a 13 percent larger airbox and 10 percent lighter forged piston. With all these attributes, the Apache RR 310 also gets faster by 0.5 seconds. The bike gets a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter. It offers four riding modes – Track, Sport, Urban and Rain.
TVS’s updated Apache RR 310 now features the winglets on the side fairings that’s claimed to generate up to 3kg of downforce. It has an improved transparent clutch over along with the new Bomber Grey paint scheme.
When it comes to features, the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 gets a bi-directional quick shifter (not available with the base Red variant) and cruise control along with a 5-inch digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. This fully-faired sportsbike comes with the RT-DSC (Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control offering features such as cornering cruise control, cornering traction control, slope dependent control, wheelie control, cornering ABS and rear lift -off control. It also gets tyre pressure monitoring system.
With the BTO Dynamic kit, you get the fully adjustable suspension with preload, compression and rebound damping adjustment on the front suspension and preload + rebound damping on the rear mono-shock along with the brass-coated drive chain and tyre pressure monitoring system. The new Dynamic Pro kit consists of the Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control.
